Historical note:
Verduzzo wine is, like Refosco, an autochthonous Friulan
variety, once being well-known as it is mentioned in the
Acerbi’s historical wine book "Viti friulane ne'
contorni di Udine" (Friulan vines nearby Udine) .
There are two main clones: Verduzzo, and Yellow Verduzzo
(or Ramandolo)

Features:
The former is mainly grown on the plain, and the wine is
dry or lightly sweet, whereas the latter yellow one is a
dessert, sweet wine, being cultivated in the hills
nearby the towns of Ramandolo, Nimis, Faedis, Torlano.
