At the beginning
of 2001 the Ramandolo obtained the DOCG qualification;
the first wine of Friuli with DOCG qualification. The
quality and property descends from a part of the Colli
Orientali. The grape type Verduzzo Friulano has old
roots and has been regionally spread. Only the best
quality is used for this exceptional wine. The colour is
gold yolk with an intensive fragrance of honey and
marchpane. Summarised it is miraculous spicy, harmonious
and with a beautiful aftertaste. Grape type: Verduzzo
Friulano 100%. After the "appassimento" the grapes are
pressed and a couple days immersed, afterwards follows a
slow fermentation of several weeks. A specialty from the
area Friuli and can be drunk sticking out as dessert
wine. Serve at 8-12 °C. Total souring: 5.60 g/l total
extract: 32.50 g/l durability: 4-10 years rest sugar:
50.00 g/l
